/u/GayForPay Cory Booker? Kind of confirms exactly what I thought
about him. Look at the company he keeps. |
/u/Bulky_Preparation768 Him being the only Democrat to vote yes on Kushner's dad
getting an appointment was some flashing red light stuff |
/u/DerBingle78 Kushner's dad has been one of his biggest donors for
years. |
/u/CosmoKing2 Kushner's Dad was still the one calling the shots at his
companies while in prison. Jared was just "running it"
for legal reasons. He's actually a lot like Trump. By
that, I mean stupid and ignorant and the rest of his
family hates him. |
/u/Late_Airline2710 Reminds me of Arrested Development without the humor. |
/u/KeyEntrepreneur5449 He's bought and paid for by Israel. It's not a secret
anymore. |
/u/dreamEater99 Just did too. Did not expect him. |
/u/SeaDots Unfortunately, I did. I found some of his stuff early
2025 as inspiring and then there were these sprinkles of
BS from him that raised red flags for me. It seemed
performative and this just proves it really was. |
/u/TinyJalope Sprinkles of BS like him saying Democrats need to
'compromise' on abortion (despite it being a 60-40 issue
in favor of them) or him writing that 'Charlie Kirk Did
Politics the Right Way' article? |
/u/gentlegreengiant I was also not at all surprised. Saw his name and
thought 'yea that tracks'. |
/u/felcom The guy trying to pioneer the "regulations are bad,
actually" abundance movement? Really? |
/u/CosmoKing2 This and The Atlantic CEO blew my mind. |
/u/BabyWrinkles If you take the most insanely charitable possible
interpretation of things...
If I were invited to attend this event (this is an
attendee/invitee list for their 2026 gathering), I would
110% go, just to listen and engage in dialogue with some
of these objectively powerful people. Without additional
context behind what some of the sessions actually are
and not just the salacious seminar titles, I'm not ready
to declare all of them "far reich adherents."
Again, if only on paper, having people with different
viewpoints invited and/or in attendance lends
credibility and might resonate with the heady bullshit
Thiel believes.
More realistically? Very disappointing. |
/u/kippikai It's not about "far reich" - it's about moving democrats
away from left leaning ideas and back into neoliberalism
and the right-shifted "center." No one is arguing these
people are "conservative" but they're absolutely
allowing themselves to be influenced by the ideology of
the extreme right in a way that ensures it won't face
meaningful ideological opposition. |
/u/tjl435 How else are you going to get added to the signal group? |
/u/BoogieOogieOogieOog Always gave me the vibes of a bought politician. Not
surprised at all |
/u/nycdiveshack He has been bought by aipac for years |
/u/Accidental-Hyzer Also, Jim Hines, Julian Castro, and Wes Moore? WTF,
guys. Any democrat on this list needs to be primaried
(if elected) and ostracized from the party. Imagine
joining a fucking Peter Thiel organization as a
Democrat. Embarrassing. |
/u/Suspicious_Ice4761 There need to be calls for them to resign. Especially
wes moore and jared polis.
Everytime they are at any press conference this should
be the only topic asked of them. |
/u/mdp300 When Mitt Romney was being criticized for his past as an
economic vulture, Booker suddenly came to the defense of
Romney and private equity. Lame. |
/u/Magmaster12 I'm positive somewhere in the last 15 years between now
and him becoming mayor of Newark he probably got
blackmailed. What Peter Theal is doing is basically just
continuing Epstein's legacy of blackmail. |
/u/qriousqestioner That reminds me about |
/u/OLPopsAdelphia Look at what he doesn't do! What a deliberately
ineffective piece of sh!+! |
/u/greentrillion Cory Booker is a founding member of Shabtai at Yale with
Rabi Shmooley. That org is knee deep in Israeli
government connections and just honored the genocidal
Ben Gvir less than a year ago.
Who is Itamar Ben-Gvir? Rabbi Shmully Hecht |
/u/honjuden Booker has been complaining about us not doing a ground
invasion of Iran. |
/u/bigbadderfdog It's good that they are inclusive to the mentally ill
and incompetent. |
/u/UpperApe They aren't "inclusive" to the mentally ill and
incompetent. They are exclusively mentally ill and
incompetent.
These stupid fuckers are the scum and leeches of
society. |
/u/imnojezus Hey look, it's the big club that we ain't in. |
/u/____DEADPOOL_______ I don't want to be in it. |
/u/GrayEidolon You're probably aware of this stuff, but for anyone who
isn't:
Conservatives have been upset since the enlightenment.
It's the politics of aristocrats: anything that ever
helped regular people to be more comfortable has enraged
them. It's literally a reactionary response to the
enlightenment. They resent the enlightenment making
things nicer for poor people.
These current assholes are trying to make a new country
that bursts out of the body of the current country. It's
called "the butterfly revolution" and yes it does sound
absurd. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Yarvin
It's why musk was speaking at the afd in Germany. It's
why bannon, farage, and Cambridge Analytica were all in
bed together on Brexit (watch "the great hack"). It's
why this "dialog society" exists.
The backbone is that conservatism is about enforcing
socioeconomic hierarchy and the techfascists, religious
fascists, and heritage foundation race fascists (Mandate
for leadership has been going on since 1981.
https://www.project2025) are all in on feudalistic
"network" states run by ai powered surveillance.
That's what they want to replace democracy with.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Enlightenment

The accelerationists like Peter Theil from the tech
faction of conservatism think they can force collapse,
but use technology and surveillance to protect
themselves. These are both Thiel speaking like 10 and 15
years ago. This seasteading thing was an early material
attempt at this moving-past-democracy thing.

These aristocrats are working on how to control their
security forces though things like "disciplinary
collars."
https://www.theguardian.com/news/2022/sep/04/super-rich

Finally, the CEO of a brokerage house explained that he
had nearly completed building his own underground bunker
system, and asked: "How do I maintain authority over my
security force after the event?" The event. That was
their euphemism for the environmental collapse, social
unrest, nuclear explosion, solar storm, unstoppable
virus, or malicious computer hack that takes everything
down.
This single question occupied us for the rest of the
hour. They knew armed guards would be required to
protect their compounds from raiders as well as angry
mobs. One had already secured a dozen Navy Seals to make
their way to his compound if he gave them the right cue.
But how would he pay the guards once even his crypto was
worthless? What would stop the guards from eventually
choosing their own leader?
The billionaires considered using special combination
locks on the food supply that only they knew. Or making
guards wear disciplinary collars of some kind in return
for their survival. Or maybe building robots to serve as
guards and workers - if that technology could be
developed "in time".

/u/qriousqestioner I appreciate this dense gloss. Thanks! |
/u/werthermanband45 Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Steven Pinker. Not really
surprised about the latter tbh |
/u/31LIVEEVIL13 oh damn. someone told me Gordon-Levitt was full of shit
that he was on the payroll, and all the things he was
backing were fake Trojan horses, designed to mislead
people opposed to things like AI data centers. I guess
this explains it. |
/u/bayleysgal1996 And here I was thinking he was just a useful idiot for
the people who go "think of the children" when they push
censorship crap |
/u/thisistherevolt I knew Booker was a POS, but Castro? Maaaaaaan. 😢 |
/u/yoga1313 Same, that shocked me. |
/u/Pooch1431 both attacked Biden on the debate stage years ago. Must
be getting fed similar talking-points. |
/u/Downtown_Statement87 OMG Grover Norquist! He's the OG "We want to make
government small enough to drown in the bathtub."
I talk about him all the time because he and his
ideological ilk are super critical to understanding how
we got here.
I can't believe he's manifesting in his corporeal form!
When it comes to purposely destroying America's
institutions so that you can then say "See? They don't
work!", Norquist scuttled so that Elon could slither.
Ahhhhhhh Grover Norquist! I need a moment. |
/u/gerblnutz I often try and tell people about this guy and Ollie
North and how they basically tried what's happening now
under Reagan, but we still had some senators with balls
back then and delayed REX84. All of the Iran Contra
people including "I did not trade guns for hostages"
Reagan deserved to rot in prison. |
/u/Downtown_Statement87 Yes oh yes talk to me baby. Sometimes I feel like NO ONE
except for me remembers when Reagan tried to do all of
this but didn't quite make it, so it is comforting to
know that people still remember.
During Trump's first campaign in 2015, all these old,
vanquished names emerged from the way way back, like
"Somehow, Roger Stone returned." It made me feel so
frantic, like "listen, everybody, we've been through
this before and these people are not in it for We the
People." None of this bullhockey has been new since the
ink dried on the Southern Strategy, so I appreciate
encountering people who know their history.
Gah! Mentioning Grover Norquist and company makes me
want to run all around like a sprayed roach. Boo this
man! |
/u/sarkouille It's baffling how much shit there is that Reagan did in
plain sight, in secret, but ended up being seen and
probably that remained unseen.
It's not only him who should have had jail time for
that, but hundreds. |
/u/WiSoSirius The Deep State is not Red or Blue. Simply, it's class
elitism that pull levers in their favour
And all my homies hate Leonard Leo |
/u/Margray That's just it, they've got us fighting a culture war so
we don't realize they're waging a class war. Fuck all of
these people and anyone who accepts their money. |
/u/PsychoCrescendo worst blunt rotation ever |
/u/Standard-Mechanic101 Explains why Tulsi Gabbard suddenly grew silent when it
came to her anti-war rhetoric. |
/u/CurryMustard I think Thiel bailing out to Argentina and Tulsi
quitting around the same time makes a lot more sense
now. I wonder if it was the iran war that did it or the
walls closing in on the epstein shit. Either way they
saw the writing on the wall and dipped. |
/u/ohanzee6 Ezra Klein wants to be thought of as an important person
so fucking badly |
/u/Liminal_Aspect Ezra Klein, damn talk about not surprising in hindsight |
/u/currently__working Check his subreddit, they keep deleting posts which are
pointing out this connection. If it was innocuous, maybe
they'd just let it be? He could explain himself... |
/u/DrewDown94 Ezra Klein being on here explains a lot lmao |
/u/OMG_IM_A_GIRL BUT THE NYT AND THE EZRA KLEIN ARE SUCH FUCKING
LEFTIES!!! /s |
/u/Impressive_Wrap_7869 If you think Ezra Klein is left, I know a socialist
named Ronald Reagan |
/u/dzogchenism Ezra Klein and Polis make so much more sense now. |
/u/shoqman Not seeing anybody mention Sam Harris. |
/u/naruda1969 Because nobody is surprised |
/u/Wonderful-Medium7777 Well of note is the Rt Hon. Tom Tugendhat he is a
Conservative MP ( British Parliament) and has been an MP
continually since 7 May 2015. I'm in the Uk and didn't
expect to see that at all. |
/u/doomgoblin Wasn't* Tulsi the one who was going to get fired but
resigned because her husband needed her due* to his
health? |
/u/art-is-t Tulsi Garbage is there too wow |
/u/strangefish That she's on the list didn't surprise me at all.
Garbage in a list of garbage. |
/u/ItsCalledDayTwa Whats the source for this> I didn't see it in the
article am blind. |
/u/NicolasCageFan492 I tried to link it but this sub doesn't like bsky. It's
posted on maia arson crimew's bsky. She got an anonymous
tip and WIRED confirmed and published this. Wired has
more info they're not releasing as well. |
/u/throw_every_away I've always thought Corey booker was a piece of shit.
He's like one or two steps to the left of an average
conservative, pretending to be progressive. |
/u/31LIVEEVIL13 "If nine people sit down at a table with one Nazi, there
are 10 Nazis sitting at the table."
except in this case, there are several dozen Nazis
sitting at the table, and I'm guessing a few hundred
newly made Nazis join them. |
/u/Exponential-777 How many underground bunkers does this guy have? Gotta
be more than one. Probably has one on each continent.
Just waiting for the shit to hit the fan. |
/u/Aggressive_Manner531 When does he run drills? Someone should lock him in next
time. |
/u/rzelln An author I like pointed out once that if the world does
go to s**t, then there's going to be a bunch of bunkers
where some security personnel are living real cushy
after they kill the billionaire who is supposed to be
under their charge. Because if things have fallen apart,
why would anyone care about the money the billionaire
can pay them. |
/u/mOdQuArK For those of us on the outside of the bunker in that
situation, sounds like good targets to test those
experimental bunker-buster bombs that the military keeps
squirrelled away before everything breaks down. |
/u/Magnon I wonder if any/all the billionaires already have some
kind of dead switch explosive collars ready to go.
"To enter elon's survival bunker, please allow us to
place this exploding collar on your neck, do not harm
elon." |
/u/rzelln Spoilers for Horizon Forbidden West.
At one point, you explore the bunker of a rich a-hole,
and gradually discover that the models and guru that he
brought down started dying one by one because he got
upset and increasingly paranoid, and the last people to
go included a scientist who was working on a way to make
the rich a-hole immortal, so he could survive a few
hundred years for an apocalypse to pass by.
The scientist gave the guy the treatment, and then
killed himself, and then the guy found out that sure,
his cells would not die, but he was slowly overrun with
cancer, and eventually just turned into a giant tumor. |
/u/Sorlex One of the best parts of that game. Really glad they
didn't do the video game thing and have you fight it as
some boss fight. You don't even see it, just hear it.
Its outstanding. |
/u/Spirit_of_Hogwash It won't happen. His bloodboys are conditioned to always
do his bidding. |
/u/No-Necessary7448 Just remember, their doomsday theories aren't evidence
that they know something, they could equally be evidence
that they're dumbasses who don't know they don't know
things. |
/u/LordoftheScheisse they're dumbasses who don't know they don't know things.
I've gone well out of my way to listen to and read
these guys' thoughts. I can say with certainty that
they're all delusional weirdos who think they are far
more intelligent than they really are. |
/u/MommyLovesPot8toes 100%. These are not great thinkers. These are people
whose wealth isolates them from the opinions of others.
They surround themselves with yes men, see their wealth
as a sign that they must be especially talented, and
their only interactions with people outside their
economic class is when said people are trying to get
something from them and are deliberately sucking up. The
Emperors New Clothes was a perfect metaphor. |
/u/discordianofslack Also that they are literally planning something. Which
is the same but different. |
/u/slizzbizness Message to his employees: he doesn't value you as a
human. Do with that information what you will |
/u/Hardass_McBadCop This is a topic of primary concern to doomsday preppers
among the Robber Barons: How to control security
personnel once money doesn't mean anything.
It's a little weird. These people range from average
fitness to being some of the physically weakest people
on Earth . . . And they're cultivating a world of "might
makes right." |
/u/zoppaTheDim Never knows when he'll have to flee the country.
Another member of the Epstein club. |
/u/Boopy7 what's funny about Thiel and Ellison is both of them
look like they took someone else's face off their face
and put it on their own faces before the surgery was
perfected. And it always looks like those second faces
are melllllting |
/u/Dirt-Road_Pirate Eat the rich, celebrate the poor. |
/u/therallystache The poor make all the best art and food anyways. |
/u/Rattus_NorvegicUwUs These people would gladly end the world just to say "I
told you so" |
/u/Own-Initial-9544 Or to not get taxed fairly |
/u/Admirabletooshie If the playing field was fair not a single one of them
would have succeeded. Elon lied on his immigration
paperwork. He should have been deported, had his
government contracts cancelled, and his assets vital to
national security seized.
Instead he is made the richest man on earth and the
Immigrant that jumps through all the hoops the right way
but didnt descend from emerald mine slave owners gets
deported for a paperwork mistake made by government
officials.
It's not fair, the game is rigged, and pretty soon they
will own and rent you the very air you breathe. |
/u/chycity1 If only there was something we could do... |
/u/Enderkr There is, we just can't talk about it on Reddit and
nobody wants to throw the first torch. |
/u/ChaosArtAunt I want to. But we're afraid no one will follow suite, or
that no one will pay attention to us. It has happened
before. |
/u/El_Beakerr "PAY TAXES!!!! Screw that! I will not pay taxes like the
common citizen, I'm gonna nuke the world!" |
/u/Luster-Purge Thiel unironically is low key upset that he will never
be the Antichrist. |
/u/fullchub Or to rule the ashes.
"Chaos is a ladder" has almost become tech bro dogma.
They "warn everyone" about the coming chaos while
actively cultivating it and benefiting from it. |
/u/ImKingFlippyNip CO Governor Polis was the one who commuted Tina Peters'
9-year sentence a few weeks ago. For some context |
/u/MyLastAcctWasBetter Was he identified in the leak? I didn't see his name in
this article?
I'm genuinely asking- I could've missed it without
realizing. The guy is a piece of shit for commuting her
sentence and clearly corrupt. I just wondered how that
particular information was relevant here. (Like I said,
I'm willing to admit I missed the mention.) |
/u/art-is-t "Gandalf's the crazy person who wants to start a war.
Mordor is this technological civilization based on
reason and science. Outside of Mordor, it's all sort of
mystical and environmental and nothing works."
Peter Theils exact words .... He literally sides with
evil in books. |
/u/achar073 Words of a 14 year old edge lord |
/u/WellSpreadMustard Thiel's gotta be one of the most evil people alive right
now. It's reptilian and animalistic in nature, just
completely devoid of empathy. I wouldn't be surprised if
he someday argues the utilitarianism of doing factory
farming of people for food. |
/u/Boopy7 not sure if you're kidding but I'm pretty sure I recall
him doing this. However it is more useful to use them
for future organs and body parts, according to his
buddies. I would say he is equally evil to a few others
out there. Shaming him for his disgusting personality or
looks won't work -- shaming him for how repulsive and
useless he is for all humanity, however, would be
enjoyable. He is truly a pointless person even for his
own adopted twins. His existence is like a festering
carbuncle upon the face of humanity. One quickly turning
cancerous. |
/u/CrunchyZebra It's so slap-you-in-the-face obvious who you're supposed
to like in LOTR and this loser still managed to be
wrong. |
/u/Juniper0223 I mean, fairly unsurprising for someone who decided a
Swedish Gen Z climate activist is who is being described
as the antichrist in the bible....what a sweaty little
wierdo |
/u/takingthehobbitses Tolkien would have hated his guts. |
/u/rarescenarios Username checks out.
But like, there are great deconstructions of LotR and
it's tropes. Jaqueline Carey's Sundering duology is
explicitly that. This mf though would be evil by the
standards of any fantasy world outside of that VHS
segment with explicitly Satanic demon people. |
/u/mournthewolf What technology does he think Mordor is so advanced in?
Slavery? |
/u/A_Suspicious_Package Slavery, yes. Also "meritocracy" lol |
/u/aybeeayseeaybeebee Historically speaking, when groups of incredibly rich
and powerful people get together for a "dialog", the
questions always seem to be "Is slavery really that
bad?" and "Should the poors vote?" |
/u/lambentstar Probably thinks Sauron invented the palantiri or some
nonsense. |
/u/DukeOfGeek Where's there's a whip... |
/u/Magnon Mordor has more advanced industry than the human nations
since they can mass produce armor and weapons for their
huge hordes of orcs. They also have a massive eugenics
program to produce tons of orcs, which I'm sure he finds
appealing. |
/u/randynumbergenerator They've also completely collapsed the ecosystem, which
in any reasonable world would put a limit on the
long-term survival of the "civilization", such as it is. |
/u/tobygeneral The humans all have armor too though, and it's better
armor than what the orcs wear. The soldiers of Gondor
are all rocking glimmering full plate suits that are
ornamented. The orcs may be able to spit out the
cheapest iron chest piece to slap onto 10,000 uruk-hai
but that doesn't mean they're more advanced than humans. |
/u/That_Trouble87 Now you're beginning to understand their entire
motivation |
/u/Agitated_Celery_729 If you read his book or listen to him talk, he's a
fucking edgelord who's made being contrarian his whole
goddamn personality. |
